OXIDATION

This series is about oxidations. Using an acid that catalyzes the oxidation process, it is possible to obtain the following colors from the following metals: Golden metals turn it into green;  Copper aquire a blue light color; And Iron turns red.

 

The paintings have a typical texture of the material, in some cases forming a velvety texture given by the oxidation process.

I like to play with human forms, desert landscapes, earthy tones and vivid textures.
